Abstract

The main objective for this project is to provide guidelines for incorporating Performance Base Specification to the current Prescriptive Base Specification of the State of Georgia. The aim is to foster innovation in material use and mixture design towards an increased durability and performance, while potentially reducing overall project cost. A life cycle cost will guide the estimate of project savings related to longer service life.
