Project Description:
The objectives of this research project are to: (1) identify an appropriate site for field evaluation of innovative deer fencing (5-mile roadway segment); (2) compare deer movements at the site across multiple seasons pre-construction; and (3) determine fence construction costs. Actual fence construction and post-construction evaluation would be done in a separate, follow-up research project pending results of this project.
